He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Mouse" Puckett and Nannie Mae Tilson Puckett; his wife Trilla Defriece-Puckett; his brothers, Zane Puckett and Dave Puckett; and his niece Shelby Howell.
He is survived by: his son Jon Puckett; his sisters, Phyllis Crane, Rosylyn Parks (Harry) and Debbie Alexander (Clyde); his sisters-in-law, Carol Puckett and Sue O'Quinn (Charles); and his close friend Coleen Raines.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holston Conference Cemetery (30461 Garnand Dr, Emory, VA 24327).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
