She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Clark Blackwell and Benjamin Franklin Blackwell II; and her siblings, Joan Blackwell Asbury, Benjamin Franklin Blackwell III and Betsy Blackwell Faris.
She is survived by: her husband John Duncan; her sons, Tim Duncan (Melinda) and Chris Duncan (Stephanie); and her grandchildren, Madison Duncan, Hannah Duncan, Emma Duncan, Will Duncan, Bailey Moore and Sophie Moore. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Holston Conference Emory and Henry Cemetery (30461 Garnand Dr, Emory, VA 24327).
