He was predeceased by: his parents, Herrmann Temple and Frances Temple. He is survived by: his wife Jennie B. Temple; his sons, Randy Temple (Ann), Herman Temple (Terri), David Temple (Sherry), Franklin B. Temple, Jr. (Michelle) and Robbin B. Temple; his stepsons, Roy Velvin, Jr. (Vicky), David Velvin (Nicole) and Christopher Velvin (Patricia); and his brother J. W. Temple (Judy). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greensville Memorial Cemetery (1250 Skippers Rd, Emporia, VA 23847).
