He is survived by: his sister Barbara Clarke of Emporia, VA.; his sons, Mark Whitehead (Kay) of Ebony, VA, Kurt Whitehead (Melvin Mann) of Richmond, VA, Paul Whitehead of Gasburg, VA and Karl Whitehead (Amy) of Powhatan, VA.; his grandchildren, Casin Whitehead (Emily), Candace Joyner (James), Caleb Whitehead, Elle Whitehead and Mari Whitehead; his great grandchildren, Riley, Weston and Briggs Joyner; and his grandchildren, Page and Calvin Whitehead.
