He is survived by: his wife Linda Brown Hamlett; his children, Debra H. Staton (Barry) of Rural Hall, NC, Amanda G. Hamlett of Evington, VA and Rodney D. Hamlett of Evington, VA; his grandchildren, Craig R. Hamlett (Emilie) of Lynch Station, VA, Lacy H. Yeatts (Jacob) of Appomattox, VA, Kayla R. Mays (Eric) of Lynchburg, VA, Trevor K. Staton of Rural Hall, NC, Cheyenne M. Hamlett of Amherst, VA and Joshua D. Hamlett of Amherst, VA; his great grandchild Ryleigh G. Mays of Lynchburg, VA; his sister Virginia Ashby of Garner, NC; his daughters-in-law, Kathy Hamlett of Forest, VA and Tammy Hamlett of Amherst, VA; and his niece Rhonda H. Dickerson of Brookneal, VA. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews, family and friends.
