It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Ann Dyson Rogers of Evington, Virginia, who passed away on January 29, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Glynn Estes Rogers, Sr.; and her parents, Victor Eugene Dyson and Ruby Turner Dyson. She is survived by: her children, Glynn E. Rogers, Jr. (Pollyanna) and Janice E. Mata (Jay); and her sisters, Donna D. Payne and Jane D. Wilson. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Jean's love of cats, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Lynchburg Humane Society.
