He was predeceased by: his parents, Armstead Tom Watts and Mattie Thompson Watts; his siblings, Rosa Watts, Evelyn Arnetha Austin, Leon Watts of Evington, VA, Roger Watts, Matthew Watts and Randolph Watts; and his nephews, Matthew Watts, Michael Watts and Arnold Jackson Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Andrews Watts; his daughters, Casandra Watts Scott (Larry) of Lynchburg, VA and Andrea Watts Calloway (Garfield) of Evington, VA; his grandchildren, William Edward Jackson IV, Aaron Jerome Jackson, Evin Thomas Jackson, Danielle Whitted and Nathaniel Whitted; his great grandchildren, William Edward Jackson V (Liam) of Lynchburg, VA, Adrianna Quesenberry of Lynchburg, VA and Jenelle Ware of Lynchburg, VA; his siblings, William Watts (Barbara) of Lynchburg, VA, Tom Watts (Georgiane) of Bedford, VA, Daniel Watts of Albuquerque, NM, Roy Watts (Evelyn) of Evington, VA, Donald Watts of Forest, VA, Frances Watkins (Vincent) of Lynchburg, VA, Blondell Jackson (Arnold) of Evington, VA, Brenda Watts of Evington, VA, Linda Watts of Evington, VA and Detra Watts of Evington, VA; and his aunts, Gertrude Thompson and Mazie Anderson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Cme Church (11612 Leesville Rd, Evington, VA 24550).
