He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Smith and Gladys Coles Smith; and his nephew Damien Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Michelle; and his siblings, Arlee Jones of Altavista, Glenda Hubbard (Robert) of Altavista, Alee Smith of Georgia, Kenneth Coles of Evington, Virginia and Fred Coles (Lola) of Evington, Virginia. He is also survived by the best friend a man could have, his dog, "Bigfoot"; and a host of other relatives and friends.
