She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa Yates (Chuck); her grandchildren, Taylor Taylor (Cameron), Tyler Odle and Tanner Yates; her great grandchildren, Maverick Odle, Carson Taylor and Colston Taylor; her siblings, Wolfgang Schmitt and Patricia Giessibl; her niece Saskia Menga; her nephew Fabian Geissibl; and her close friends, Jeanette Davis, Glenn Mullins, Richard Smith and Joyce Porritt.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Redmond Reserve Event Center (149 N 28th St, Middlesboro, KY 40965).
