With solemn reverence, we commemorate Patricia Sams of Ewing, Virginia, whose life came to an end on July 17, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Cole Debusk and Clifford Bryant; and her brother Richard "Rick" Bryant. She is survived by: her husband Curtis Ray Sams; her children, Candace Sams (Brad Gulley) of Middlesboro, KY, Matthew Sams (Jenna) of London, KY and Lindsey Sams-Wilson (Jake) of Fairlawn, VA; and her grandchildren, Hayden Sams (Carrie), Grant Gulley, Rhett Gulley and Mattalyn Sams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Green Hills Funeral Home (31 Hurst Rd, Middlesboro, KY 40965). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at the Sams Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Pat's honor toward "Blessing Boxes," a local philanthropy organized by her daughter to help ease food insecurity in our community by providing a Thanksgiving meal to families in need. Donations may be made at Community Trust Bank or to Pat's daughter, Candace.
