He was predeceased by: his parents, Vonda Kilmon Doughty and Burleigh "Byrd" Scott Doughty; and his brother Gerald Richard "Ricky" Doughty. He is survived by: his wife Connie Wessells Doughty; his sons, Jeff Doughty (Kelly) and Jesse Doughty (Anne Kyle); his grandchildren, Suri Byrd Doughty and Sawyer Harrison Doughty; and his brother Scott Doughty (Joan).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Doughty Funeral Home (3117 Main St, Exmore, VA 23350). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
