She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. Duer, III and Dorothy Sowers Duer; her sister Jean; and her brother-in-law Roy Drummond. She is survived by: her husband J. Nicholas Klein, III; her children, Kerry Katherine Klein of Roanoke, VA, John N. Klein, IV of Winter Park, FL and Kevin Duer Klein; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Watson Klein of North Chesterfield, VA; her grandchildren, Ashby Watson Klein of North Chesterfield, Ethan P., Jacob K. and Stella E. Klein of Winter Park, FL.; her brother Abel C. "Con" Duer, IV (Lesa) of Belle Haven; and her nieces and nephews, Darcie and Amanda.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Doughty Funeral Home (3117 Main St, Exmore, VA 23350).
