It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Virginia Jenkins of Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Calvin Whitmer and Eva Matheny Whitmer; her sister Carol Lee Burge; and her husband Carl R. Jenkins, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Dan Jenkins (Debbie) and Ron Jenkins; her grandchildren, Paul Jenkins (Leandra), Taylor Jenkins (Ashley), Ryan Jenkins (Courtney), Katie Yeisley (Sean) and Kyle Jenkins; her sister Jane McClain; and her great grandchildren, Lyla Jenkins, Ainsley Jenkins, Price Jenkins, Henry Jenkins, Graham Jenkins and Austin Yeisley. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Fairfax United Methodist Church, 10300 Stratford Avenue, Fairfax, Virginia 22030.
