She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel George Gerhart and Sara Gerhart; her husband Charles; and her sister Harryette Williams. She is survived by: her children, Kevin, Carolyn, Lesley, Steve, Keith and Andrea; and her grandchildren, Dylan, Jaden, Ryan, Charles and Anderson. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Nativity Catholic Church (6400 Nativity Ln, Burke, VA 22015). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Park (9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032). A reception was held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home (9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032).
