He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur B. Zimmerli Sr. and Mary Horgan Zimmerli of Kensington, MD.; his wife Sarah Ann "Dolly" Zimmerli; and his siblings, Mary Brown of Kensington, MD. and Charles Zimmerli of Chappell Hill, NC..
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Zimmerli of Vienna, Steve Zimmerli (Stephanie) of Fairfax Station, Greg Zimmerli of Fairfax and Sue Matelski (Stanley) of Purcellville; and his grandchildren, Holly, Sandra, Mitchell, Mason, Shelly and Evan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
