Bertha Walak Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Walak (Fairfax, Virginia), who passed away on January 22 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Bertha was an active member of Epiphany of Our Lord Byzantine Catholic Church. She volunteered at the Slavic picnic for years, loved to dance to the polka bands and dress in her Rusyn traditional costume. Bertha was beloved by many and admired for spunkiness and independence.
