She is survived by: her son J. T. Harris (Rachel); her grandchildren, Victoria Harris, J. Todd Harris, Jr. and Jasmine Bocus; and her siblings, John Hawkins (Frankie) and Barbara Hite (Charles). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
