He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Rafaela Castells of Tama and Onofre Camilo Drago Castells; his son Pepe Manuel Castells (Zsuzsanna); his wife Marijane; and his siblings, Maria Rosa, Teresa, Jaime, Carmen, Onofre and Manuel.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Sarita Castells Elliott (John), Carlos Castells (Sharon Hogan) and Margarita Juana Noyes (Michael). He is also survived by three children, 13 adult grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
