With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carole Ann Maier (Fairfax, Virginia), who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Slamin and Hazel Slamin (Kiley); her sister Phylis Tocci; and her grandson Jacob Miller. She is survived by: her husband Jack Maier of Fairfax; her children, Chad Ramey of Charlotte, NC, Maddie Maitland (David) of Fredericksburg, VA, Karen Miller (Jim) of Glenelg, MD, Susan Harmon (Kevin) of Atlanta, GA and Michelle Roper (Greg) of Gold Bar, WA; her grandchildren, John Maitland, Jacob Maitland, Katie Maitland, Luke Miller, Rachel Wilson (Justice Wilson), Tyler Roper, Bryce Roper and Dylan Parker-Roper; and her child Baxter (King Charles Cavalier).
