She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Carr and Zola Wallwork Ackerson; her spouse Thomas Berry Johnston of Birmingham; her children, Sara Christine of Alexandria, Jennifer Isabelle (James Ross Morrison) of Leesburg and Thomas Berry Johnston, Jr.; her brother A. C. Ackerson; her daughter Virginia; and her grandsons, James Ross Morrison, Jr. and Alexander Paul Morrison.
