He is survived by: his children, Susan Barrett (John), Stephen Meyer (Ingrid Mohn) and Stacey Isidro (Hernando); his grandchildren, John Barrett, III (Nichole), Meghan Benson (Kyle), Karl Meyer (Kaitlin), Amelia Meyer, Nicolas Isidro and Thomas Isidro; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Benson, Hannah Benson and Vivian Meyer.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fairfax Presbyterian Church (10723 Main St, Fairfax, VA 22030).
