He was predeceased by: his parents, David McCaffrey and Marie McCaffrey; his brother John; and his granddaughter Bridget. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his sister Mary Rose; his children, Marie (David), Eileen, Theresa (Greg) and David (Kim); and his grandchildren, Maia, Judson, Brent, Corey, Toby, Bria, Peter, Clara, Daniel and Matthew.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Benedict's Preparatory School in Newark, New Jersey, or St. Michael's School in Annandale, Virginia.
