He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Crump and Welford Crump; his siblings, Raymond, Burton and Norma; his son John; his granddaughter Jennifer; and his great grandchild August.

He is survived by: his wife Loucille Crump; his brother Jackie; and his daughters, Robin, Donna and Betsy. He is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
