She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Masterson and Bernice Masterson (McClimate); and her husband William Burns. She is survived by: her children, Patrick (Sandra), Kevin (Melissa), Michael and Susan Roy (Matthew); her sister Mary Watson (William); and her grandsons, Scott, Nathaniel, Leo, Brayden, Colin, Ryan and Zachary.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home (9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nativity Catholic Church (6400 Nativity Ln, Burke, VA 22015).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association in Gale's memory.
