He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Patricia Ann Nix (Patty); his children, Christie Lynn Nix, Stephen Harvey Nix, Patrick John Nix and Kelly Sue Ralston (Nix); and his grandchildren, Jeffrey Alexander Nix, Stephanie Lynn Nix (Stevie), Caroline Elise Robie (Ralston) and Natalie Lawrence Ralston.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Virginia Hemophilia Foundation or Gracing Spaces, two organizations close to Harvey's heart.
