He is survived by: his wife Laura Walsh-Steinman; and his siblings, Lavern Steinman of Springfield, Ohio, Dean Steinman of Silver Spring, Maryland, Roger Steinman of Auburn, Indiana, Darl Steinman of Auburn, Indiana and Barbara Steinman of Maryland.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

“My condolences to all of the family. I was friends with Larry and all of his siblings. I too was in the navy and met up with Larry a couple of places where we visited together. He loaned us his car once when he went out to sea so I got saluted when I drove his car on and off base. After the navy Larry remained in the greater Washington, DC area as did Dean and Barb. I only saw him one more time when we both attended Eddie's memorial service. This picture was when Larry was visiting us in CA.”
