“I knew Mrs. Downey as a child while living in Fairfax Virginia. She was married to my father's law firm partner. Mr. and Mrs. Downey would naturally come by our house on occasion. I was always struck by her poise, elegance and kindness. She was a very special person and inspired me to travel, which I have done. I've been living in London for nearly 40 years. I am sorry to hear of her passing, but know she has left a wonderful legacy far and wide. May she rest in peace. - Stephen Lennhoff”
