It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leighton Paxton Stradley III of Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Tierney Stradley; Mariel and Izzie. He is survived by: his sisters, Lynd Meyer, Judith Nelson (Travers) and Virginia Jenks (Robert); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Hussey; and his close friend Elizabeth Duvall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews from his family and Mary's. Also, his many cousins.
