With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion K. Essig of Fairfax, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 8, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Klemens Kochanski and Genevieve Kochanski; her brothers, Ted, Ed, Walter, Stephen and Henry Kochanski; and her husband Thomas George Essig.
She is survived by: her children, Tom, John and Genevieve; her grandchildren, John, Kristen, Tom, Kat, Ashley, Sean and Lucas; and her great grandchildren, Riley, Ashlin, Dante, Natalie and Brendan.
