She was predeceased by: her parents, William Joseph Hall and Hilda Micheli Hall. She is survived by: her husband Edwin Earl Spain, Jr.; her children, Mary Wynn (Edward), Edwin Earl Spain III (Mary), Beverly Brown (Marc), Nancy Jackson (Chris), Anna Field (Jim) and Julie Shipp (Matt); her sisters, Margaret Tyson, Betty Knave and Anna Martin; and her sister-in-law Jacquelyn Williams. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Franconia Volunteer Fire Department, 6300 Beulah Street in Franconia, Virginia 22310.
