He was predeceased by: his wife Sun Kyu. He is survived by: his brother Paek Kyu; his children, Kyong, Mok and Min; and his grandchildren, Tyler, Kameron, Allison, Benjamin, Kai and Southerly. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the Choe family welcomes contributions to the Michael J Fox Foundation in memory of Myong Kyu Choe who suffered from Parkinson's disease.
