She was predeceased by: her husband James Slantis. She is survived by: her children, Eve Hillers Waring (Michael Waring) and Sam Hillers (Ann Schlott Hillers). She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (5952 Franconia Rd, Franconia, VA 22310). A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at 6501 Darnall Rd, Towson, MD 21204.
