He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lorraine and James; his siblings, Richard and Susan; his wife Judy Buerman Davis; his children, Matthew Davis (Justine), Katherine Boone (Charles), Elizabeth Poplin (Butch) and Emily Riedel (David); and his grandchildren, Maddy, Nick, Ryan, Erin, Hannah, Bennett, Lucas and Adele. He was also cherished by his four children and eight grandchildren.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Peter's name to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington.
