He is survived by: his wife Christine Johnson Dunton; his children, Pete of McLean, VA and Rebecca Foret (Paul) of Huntersville, NC; his grandchildren, Hannah, Miles and Isabelle; his great grandchildren, Penelope, Wilbur, Edwin and George; and his sister Faith Dunton Hedin.
