He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gilbert and Betty Gilbert. He is survived by: his wife Cyndy Gilbert; his children, Nathan (Janice) and Katie (Greg); his grandchildren, Kelly, Mason and Dylan; his great grandchild CJ; his sister Cindy; and his sibling's children, Ian, Shaune (Carolyn), Kyle, Lauren, Madison, Nick, Christina and Austin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home (9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Park (4401 Burke Station Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Bob's memory.
