He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Martin Padgett and Mabel Lois Payne Padgett. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kay Dancy of Charlotte, N. C; and his children, Robert Martin Padgett of Springfield, VA, Lisa Kay Digges of Norfolk, VA, Laura Elise Burke of Grand Rapids, MI and Katherine Marie Black of Fairfax, VA. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
