She was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Nochae Ki and Boksoon Bae; husband: Donsig (돈식); daughters: Mary (문경), Jada (문영), and Yeji (예지); sons-in-law: Robert and Josiah; granddaughter: Seohee (서희); siblings: four siblings; and many other beloved family members and loved ones.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Kumc Koinonia Church (12401 Alder Woods Dr, Fairfax, VA 22033). Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home (9902 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
Born June 28, 1964, in Jeonju, Korea, Sooyang lived a life marked by faith, love, and charity before succumbing to a four-year battle with cancer.
