We bid farewell to Stephen Eugene Rhodes of Fairfax, Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 11, 2025 at the age of 69. Stephen Eugene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Rhodes and Thomas Rhodes; and his grandparents, Elizabeth, Samuel Miller, Clarice and Leo Rhodes.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jessica and Stephanie Rhodes; his grandson Connor Rhodes; his siblings, Sheila Pegram, Diane Roof (Lee), Susie Steagall (Allen), Lisa Privette (Tom), Michael Rhodes, Laura Garrett (Steve) and Melissa Ward; and his close friend Christina Suthammanont. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home (2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC 29505). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
