It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Piontek in Fairfax, Virginia, born in Lackawanna, New York, who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Piontek and Walter Piontek Sr.; and his brother Eugene Piontek (Sue). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Piontek; his children, Richard Piontek (Francine), Kathleen Falcone, Susan Foster (Erik), Jeffrey Bell (Kimberly) and Jennifer Bell; his grandchildren, Gina, Ashley, Christina, Anthony, Zachary, Olivia and Addison; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Rhys, Grant and Harper.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Mark Catholic Church (9970 Vale Rd, Vienna, VA 22181).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to Walter's heart.
