He was predeceased by: his parent Jessie Cox; and his brothers, Walter and Jesse Cox. He is survived by: his daughter Tara Cox Clark (Damon); his wife W. Lee Cox of Bessemer, AL; his son William E. Cox, Jr.; his sister Linda Cox Ellison (Mark); his sisters-in-law, Mary Boyer, Geraldine Cox and Mary Cox; his daughter-in-law Cimon Cox; and his grandchildren, Rhyann Lee Clark, Dakota Scott Clark (Cody), Anina Elizabeth Cox and William E. Cox, III. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved relatives and friends.
