It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Arthur Schmidt (Fairfax, Virginia), who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schmidt and Leola Schmidt; and his daughter Lara Schmidt. He is survived by: his wife Diana Schmidt; his daughters, Joanne Mann (Chris Mann) and Alana Riekse (Jon Riekse); his granddaughter Natalie Mansfield (Jason Mansfield); his great grandchildren, Edwin, Maxine, Will, Jeanne, Lara and Nolan; and his sisters, Brenda Knox and Donna Vreeland.
