He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester D. Leonard and Clella Mae Byrant Leonard; his former wife Shirley Ann Pope Leonard; his wife Marilyn Pearl Bird Leonard; and his former wife Virginia Wade Watson Leonard.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberlee Star Ferner (Charles); and his grandchildren, Aaron, Kristen and Sarah. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
