She was predeceased by: her parents, Burrell Alonzo and Elsie Marie Sheppard Smith. She is survived by: her daughter Candace "Candie" Hobbs. She is also survived by 2 sons; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory (120 W Main St, Radford, VA 24141). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
