He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gee and Beatrice Coy Smith; and his siblings, Charles, Barbara and Maggie.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Todd Gee; his son Todd Gee (Katina); his grandsons, Christopher Gee (Morgan), Taylor Gee (Frankie) and Michael Gee; his great grandchildren, Rylan, Carter, Onyx, Natalee, Olivia and Payton; and his siblings, Jimmy Gee (Darlene), Pat Smith (Martha), Carl Smith (Emmy), George Smith (Traci), John Smith, Frankie Smith (Colleen), Patti Davis (Dusty), Sarah Dolan (Felix) and Doris Hutmacher. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, relatives and special friends.
