He was predeceased by : his parents, Stephen and Mary (Malloy); his former life partner Linda (Hornaday); his sister Stephanie; and his stepson Dan Fissell.

He is survived by : his wife Mary (Linehan) of Falls Church, VA; his son Sean (Jolie) of West Caldwell, NJ; his grandchildren, Portia and Myles; his stepdaughter Kristine Simpkins (Joey) of Christiansburg, VA; his stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Connor and Logan; his siblings, James Cina of Rapid City, SD and Marguerite Bowman of Chester, MD; his uncle William Malloy of Kensington, MD; and his cousins, Ann, Joseph and Tom Parker.
