He was predeceased by : his wife Mery E. Carrazana of Borda. He is survived by : his children, Jaime Jr., Katherine, Pilar and Rocio; his children-in-law, Monica, Jorge, Alvaro and Jose; his sisters, Luz and Elsa; his grandchildren, Andrea, Patrick, Gabriel, Pamela, Estefania, Kris, Alejandra, Adam, Diego, Cristina, Sergio, Paola, Vincent and Leonardo; and his great grandchildren, Valentino, Adriana, Harrison, Aiden, Amaya, Bennett, Noah, Lucy and Santiago.
