She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Robert D. Mellen; her children, Elaine Mellen, Mitchell Mellen (Cynthia Bennett) and Bret Mellen (Jennifer Slutzky); her grandchildren, Eli Mellen (Tova) and Adrian Sutter; and her great grandchildren, Avi, Ruven Mellen and Aribel Alexander.
