He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis McDonald and Laura Richards McDonald; his wife Margaret Ann Flinn McDonald; and his grandson David McDonald. He is survived by: his children, Christopher (Pamela McDonald) and Iris Ann (James Norman); his siblings, Robert McDonald and Dorthea Dressel; and his grandchildren, John (Debbie McDonald), Greg McDonald, Laura (Matt Nicholson) and Christalyn (Matt Oakes). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
