He was predeceased by: his brother Curtis Lee Dedmond; his parents, Wanda Dedmond (White) and Curtis Clifford Dedmond; and his brother Roger Dale Dedmond. He is survived by: his children, Laura Beth Dedmond and Jimmy Lee Dedmond (Hayley Grey); his grandchildren, Bristol Leigh Dedmond and Tristan Matthew Dedmond; his siblings, John Dedmond and Sharon Steinke (Wayne); and also Hayley Grey.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Concord Baptist Church (12053 Francisco Rd, Farmville, VA 23901). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at the same location.
