He was predeceased by: his father Sherman Elton Peters; his sister Melissa Peters; and his grandparents, Henry Elton, Hallie Peters, Stafford and Esther Sink.
He is survived by: his daughter Miranda; his son-in-law Ben Scroggins of Atlantic Beach, FL; his stepfather Steve Jones of Ferrum, VA; his brother Robby; his sister-in-law Jennifer Peters of Ferrum, VA; and his sibling's children, Cassidy Peters of Vinton, VA and Devin Peters of Ferrum, VA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery (260 Henry Rd, Ferrum, VA 24088).
